The band's first full work in the post-Barrett era was the music to Barbet Schroeder's film More, followed by a double album (with a live disc and a highly experimental studio disc) called Ummagumma. Furthermore, Barrett and Gilmour only appear together on one song, "Set the Controls For the Heart of the Sun," Barrett performing on only two other songs on the album, "Remember a Day" and "Jugband Blues" with Gilmour appearing on all others. Both appeared on the group's sophomore effort A Saucerful of Secrets, but during the recording sessions the group decided to continue without Barrett. The band called in a second guitarist, David Gilmour (formerly of Jokers Wild, and Barrett's former friend from school).
